Alleluia! Today is Easter Monday, the Second Day in the Octave of Easter. On this first day of April we celebrate April Fool’s Day.

Tutankhamun: Egyptology’s Greatest Discovery by Jaromir Malek

This is a coffee table book about the discovery and excavation of the tomb of Pharaoh Tutankhamun (formerly Pharaoh Tutankhaten), who ruled during the New Kingdom XVIII Dynasty of Egypt from about BCE c.1336 (ascending the throne at the age of nine) to BCE c.1327 (when he died childless at the age of about nineteen). This is an easy book to read, and contains tons of information, and I am glad to have this book in my library.
