Today is Easter Thursday, the Fifth Day in the Octave of Easter, the Optional Memorial of Saint Isidore, Bishop and Doctor (died 636) and the Optional Memorial of Saint Benedict the Moor (died 1589). Today we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., American clergyman, activist and prominent leader in the American civil rights movement (died 1968), and today is the International Day for Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action. And, last but not least, today is my daughter Michelle’s birthday (1988).

This is yet another humorous book by the current host of Jeopardy!; he has a very engaging writing style, and he writes books that people (and I) enjoy reading. This book covers a great many of the things that we were told by teachers, parents, and others in authority, with research determining if the dire imprecations were based in reality or not.
